The Career Development Lab at TFC

The Career Development Lab at TFC is an annual 12-week professional development fellowship composed of in-person and virtual course experiences led by industry professionals and experts that prepares early-career trans creators to launch a lifetime of success in filmmaking.

Funded by Netflix’s Fund for Creative Equity, TFC will select a class of ten top trans creative voices to participate in a multi-disciplinary, purpose-driven set of educational workshops that help them build a winning career strategy by pulling back the curtain on the reality of working in film and television. Classes, held in-person and online, are skills and insight-based and directly applicable to rubber-meets-the-road career-building.

Applications for our 2025 cycle are now closed.
